Base Cabinet Pullouts are a very popular request.  Also called rollouts or sliding shelves, they are both space and back savers.  These new pullouts will allow everything in the cabinets to be organized and more easily accessed.

In this kitchen, we installed vertical pullouts above the fridge and in the pantry top to utilize all the available space, added adjustable dividers in a deep drawer to give instant access to each item, and installed an appliance pullout to allow for adding water to the coffee maker, then get it out of the way.

Before

This laundry / utility room cabinet features a full size ironing board pullout, a large counter top for sorting and folding, and a deep tub sink for big cleanup jobs.  The full width hanging rod has plenty of space for air drying clothes if needed.

For the opposite wall, we designed a combination shelf and sweater drying rack.  The trays are removable to position the sweaters and then reinserted into the rack.

Before

This stack of kitchen drawers from the 70’s didn’t utilize the full cabinet depth, only allowed for about 2/3 extension before tipping and ran on rough plastic wheels with a single center guide.  We replaced the original particle board drawer boxes with UV coated plywood boxes that utilize the full cabinet depth and mounted them on full extension soft close slides, allowing for smoother operation and almost doubling the useable area.

Before

These folks had a standard kitchen pantry with shelves.  At 24″ deep, there’s a lot of room in there, but only the front edges are accessible without pushing things out of the way.  We added vertical pullouts in the top and drawer pullouts in the bottom.  Now they can utilize all the space in the pantry and get to what’s in the back as easily as what’s in the front, and without the step stool or crouching on the floor.

Before

This bathroom cabinet was built into a recess next to the shower, making it difficult to reach anything stored inside.  We added drawer pullouts to the lower shelves to utilize all the space and make it easy to reach items kept there.

This customer asked if we could install hanging file pullouts in her office desk, to replace the plastic boxes she had been using.  No problem.  UV coated plywood, steel file guides and full extension undermount soft close drawer slides.  Now the files can be quickly accessed in place, or if a longer perusal is needed, the entire pullout can be removed, same as before, simply by releasing the drawer slide clips and lifting it out.

Here we were given photos and asked to make shelves with brackets like the top photo and a cabinet with drawers like the bottom photo.  The customer needed maximum storage space in the cabinet for her Tupperware™, dishes, cookware, etc., but she also wanted to display some items and have more counter space for small appliances.

These bookcases and drawer cabinets hold all of the movies, music and books in the before picture and then some.  We designed the height of the bookcases to match the descending staircase behind them.

This new wall cabinet is home for everything in the Before picture and more.  The center section houses the wastebasket and a double clothes hamper.  A cultured marble top with large holes allows trash and clothes to be deposited without even lifting a lid.  There’s a hanging rod for sweaty workout clothes to dry before going in the hamper, and curtains to keep them from view.

We designed this coat, hat and shoe rack with adjustable / removable shelves and used fabric bins up top for gloves, scarves, etc.  You can sit in the openings to put your shoes on.  Three coats of polyurethane ensure a tough surface that will last for years.

From sleeveless Summer tops on the left to Winter coats on the right, this two tier closet makes the entire year accessible.  The fully adjustable shoe shelf handles all sizes and styles from flats to boots.
